From a music industry perspective...a suggestion might be to get a sound engineer to set up and have the reporters send feeds to a main booth and maybe have just one mic hanging over everyone at the table. That would at least work for the cabinet meetings. And Secret Service needs to step it up at the outdoor impromptu press meetings.
