MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT: I've been using Macs since 1999, and I've noticed that its software programs are just as unfriendly to users as Microsoft's, while there has been a noticeable drop in the reliability of its products. IMO, this trend accelerated when Tim Cook took over the reins as Apple CEO after Steve Jobs passed away.

Constantly releasing new operating system and iOS upgrades in order to please industry analysts and give the appearance that Apple is at the forefront of innovation is maddening. Who really needs a new iPhone when one that is just a few years old is perfectly capable of completing most tasks?

To address some of my frustration, I also run Linux (Ubuntu) programs on my Mac in the form of a virtual machine.
