Regulate food from harmful chemicals. I’m against many regulations but this isn’t one of them. Get poisons out of our foods.

My grandma remembers when she was growing up, and they were protraying pesticides as a good thing and good for us. My great grandparent were farmers.

I’m really annoyed by the fact that there is medical substances in pickles at the store to make them be able to go past the blood brain barrier to be absorbed into your cells faster. Or the other chemical that I found out that is in a different brand of pickles is an industrial cement compound meant in the food to provide a harder crunch. I can’t enjoy pickles because I don’t want any of that crap in my body.

Start by demanding large and obvious labels of harmful chemicals in the food products just like a pack of cigarettes.
I’d rather just see disclosure and labeling that provides the public with easier means to make informed decisions. If they want to use these ingredients, they should be able to, so long as its clearly stated on the front of they box, using a standardized size, font, and coloring. Maybe these products can also be restricted from certain types of advertisement, similar to tobacco products. I lightly use chewing tobacco, one tin a week or two at most. I see the warning label on the product and make my own decision. I don’t want or need the goverment to take it away from me, but I respect and appreciate the warning label.
