BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | March 2, 2025: The United States and Britain are jockeying into position to grab Ukraine's rare earth minerals and are going about it in different ways. President Donald Trump's offer was to bring about peace quickly with no guarantees for future weapons, but Ukraine's leader Volodymyr Zelensky did not agree with that approach and in disagreement left the White House. The next day, Sunday, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said that UK will use 1.6 billion pounds, which is equal to $2 billion, from UK's export finance, to buy more than 5,000 air defense missiles to give to Ukraine, for it to launch new attacks against Russian territories.

Zelensky was also given a 2.2 billion pound loan for military aid, backed by the profits from Russian frozen assets, said Starmer. He noted that this is being done to strengthen Ukraine's position in securing peace, when it comes.

Was President Trump correct when he told Zelensky, "you are gambling with World War 3." Zelensky does not agree, he just wants more weapons, with no peace on the table right now.
