Secret Service agent Clint Hill passed away at age 93. His wife, Lisa McCubbin Hill, confirmed his death. “He was the epitome of a gentleman. Humble, selfless, confident, brave, an encyclopedia of knowledge and experience about the 20th century until now. He knew history because he lived it,” she wrote.
Hill’s storied career with the Secret Service, spanned five presidencies; most notably, he was the agent assigned to First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, and was there on the day of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination. He was the last surviving person who was in Kennedy’s presidential limousine that fateful day in Dallas.
