New take on plane crash in Toronto

Social media is exploding over the fact that both pilots were female. I am not so sure that made a difference. Before you are allowed to fly commercial with passengers in the US you need 1500 hours of flight time and you are well vetted. Women drive cars all the time and things go ok. I am skeptical about the women making a difference.

The BBC report I linked (NW: I can't locate the link) said the pilots reported no issues before landing, however, there are rumors that the women reported flap failure before landing. I am going to check which side is correct with this, if the women said nothing, I am sticking with remote control with instrument interference, any way you cut it 4 such crashes in a month is unprecedented, see the air crash history chart farther down the page.

I gotta say, this does NOT LOOK GOOD

The airline company focused on having ONLY WOMEN PILOTS. If you do that, rather than hire totally on merit, there may be problems.
