Dear Readers and Agents of RMN,

It's come to my attention that agents are openly attacking others on the front page and via emails through readers.

What two agents email about, or discuss in the 'lounge', is their business. However, when you drag out the dirty laundry in front of our readers, it needs to be commented upon.

When Rayelan began RMN (back in 1999) she wrote a set of rules for new agents. 'ALL' of you agreed to them before you became agents.

It's not in my nature to argue, but rather discuss the problem and find a solution. However, if I'm backed into a corner, all bets are off :-) If any of these rules are hard to deal with, please feel free to write to me. I'll even give you my phone number and we can discuss it. I'm not taking sides. Seawitch knows how I feel about the GCR updates. How I feel does not matter. My job is to remain neutral. What does matter is the RMN front page, and the professional way that we should present ourselves.

All information posted in the Rumor Mill News Reading Room must adhere to the Prime Directive:

Mean spirited attacks on Rumor Mill News or its publisher... (this does not mean you cannot disagree, but do it politely.)

Mean spirited attacks on the agents and researchers who post in the RMNews Reading Room.

If you disagree with something that is said (or posted) you can either e-mail the author or post information which gives another point of view. The purposeful trashing and smearing of another researcher will NOT be allowed.

No Ad Hominem attacks... you can attack the work... NOT the person!!

If you do attack the work, please do it professionally ... not in a bitter, mean spirited way!

You cannot bypass this rule by violating the letter of the law and having RMN readers do your attacking for you! No posting reader emails that are ad hominem attacks!!
