I think this might be a good title to present and past so-called felons. I am about tired of sour-faced media hags calling Trump a felon. like Joy Behar. She wants to know how Carrie Underwood can claim to ‘love our country’ and at the same time support a convicted felon. It would be very interesting to discover the political persuasion of members of the jury. Since it was brought to court in New York City, it’s likely there wasn’t a conservative anywhere near the trial.
And, exactly who was hurt by these so-called falsifications? I tried my best to follow this clown show. Let’s see, there was a woman of questionable character who couldn't remember where or when his groping of her took place, how many years ago? And then Trump supposedly falsified the value of some of his property? I seem to remember president’s of banks, where Trump got a loan, questioning these politically motivated and contrived charges. They all disclaimed any harm since Trump had paid off all loans, and to a person said they would be happy to do business with him again. I think that is insulting to these bankers. They don’t know the value of the buildings they issues loans for?
As for felons, I believe George Washington was charged with treason in 1779. English Lord Robert Goff said. “By leading the Continental Army in revolt against the Crown, George Washington was nothing less than a turncoat and a traitor." Although there are definitely differences in the two episodes, I doubt if New York had as many Libtards to serve as jurors in 1779, had there been a trial, as there are today. Besides, two law professors say that Washington was just doing his job. All of the Founding Fathers could have been charges similarly. Not everyone in the British colonies backed them. And, a very small minority of ‘rebels’ fought for freedom from England.
So, the only truthful remark that Behar made was, “This is only my opinion.” Which she is entitled to have and to express because of our first amendment. It’s a shame that any weak minded individual would give credence to her spiteful rhetoric and that she is given a voice to spew her hatred of all things Trump. I hope our newly elected president can find it in his heart to pattern his response in similar fashion as President Thomas Jefferson when some of the newspapers of his day went to great lengths to accuse him of every crime they could think of. When a visiting dignitary from Europe picked up and read several newspapers lying around in the White House he said, “Sir, why don’t you have these people jailed or hanged who talk about you like this? Why do you tolerate such things?”
Jefferson replied, “We have a hard won series of amendments, including the first one guaranteeing freedom of speech, freedom of the press and other freedoms. So, if anyone ever asks you if the United States really has these freedoms, you can tell them what I said and where you found these newspapers.”
Talk about taking the high road! A good lesson for Behar to read, about along with the rest of her TDS buddies. Her attitude reminds me of Liz Chaney’s unselect committee not allowing any Republican, who wasn’t a RINO on that committee. As well as destroying any documents from that investigation. Or Hillary Clinton, destroying her emails and cell phones. Their philosophy seems to be, as long as it’s a Democrat who does it, it’s okay.
But, I swear if I hear one more time Trump say about Hillary, “Oh the Clinton’s are really nice people”, I am going to pull a George H. W. Bush stunt and throw up in his lap, should I ever get the chance. Does he not understand that a good number of his supporters lose some respect for him when he promises to hold her and others accountable, then reneges? He’s not amassing brownie points for showing her leniency. He is just showing the people that they are all in the same uni-party and he will protect her, no matter what. We, the American people, were promised that these traitors would be held accountable for their crimes. When, posthumously?
I truly hope that Tulsi Gabbard does get confirmed. He needs someone in his cabinet who isn’t afraid to tell him the truth. However, the man isn’t stupid and he does learn from his mistakes. It was a mistake to tell his supporters during his first term, that he was going to release all of the JFK assassination files, then allow Mike Pompeo to talk him out of it. It looks as though Trump either listened to someone who knew or he figured out on his own that Pompeo was a snake. Pompeo lost his security clearance. Now, stop trying to protect the Clinton's’! They both deserve prison. She deserves hanging for Benghazi if for no other reason.
