The current weather channel forecast for my location in Aiken SC is for at least five inches of snow on next Tuesday and Wednesday. That amount of snow would cause a lot of problems here. You can't drive more than a hundred yards without seeing huge piles of chopped up trees and tree branches on the roadside that were blown down by Hurricane Helene in late September.

I am expecting and prepared for a long duration power outage here. After Hurricane Helene the power was off for a whole week, but at least the the weather was mild then. If this winter storm materializes then it will be very cold this time around.

I watch a podcast from a local weatherman in Wyoming every weekday. Today he commented on two important situations that seem directly due to weather warfare management. He noted that we are experiencing a stratospheric warm up which pushes the cold air to the ground.

Also, he noted that there are two high pressure systems one off the west coast and one off the east coast that work as bookends and keep the very cold temperatures contained between them in the US and going all the way down to the southern US border. Plus he noted that those high pressure areas are going nowhere for the next two weeks with even greater cold coming in from Siberia. Thought this might be of interest to everyone.
