This holographic video game with its inverted mind matrix
Is filled with artificial energy harvesting timelines

The timekeepers use Nexus events
To keep timelines from veering off their predetermined path

Variants are those who do not conform
They are monitored to prevent an uprising

Sometimes the Variants timelines get removed or just pruned
Sometimes they are sent to the Land of the Forgotten

Who gain control of the game
