A Solstice Turning Point...🌞🌎
Happy Solstice! This is the perfect time for me to write to you because the actual solstice occurs at precisely 4:20 AM EST on Saturday morning. Which means that right now we are entering the close of a major season. That moment is only hours away.
Here's why I think this matters: Speaking from the northern hemisphere, we are entering the winter season, yet as of tomorrow morning we will begin moving into more and more light. I like to focus on the effects of the light and how powerful the sun's influence is in this regard. (And of course if you are in the southern hemisphere, your sunlight will begin to diminish as you enter into your summer season.)
Nature is the greatest teacher of all. And the solstice can be a time of profound reflection. I think we especially need some time to reflect with the incredible changes taking place on our planet. 2025 is going to be something else! I think it will be a mix of shocking events and hopefully some big positive things happening along the way. But whatever the case, it's important that we get fully grounded and conscious now.
Can you feel the power of this particular solstice? We stand on the threshold of massive, global change. So now is a good time to reflect on where you've been in your life and then decide how you want to go forward.
I think the most important thing for us all to think about is how flexible are we? How quickly are we able to adapt to new things that are not in our control? There's a simple way to look at this. Our bodies, minds, and emotions tend to get pretty entrenched in the ways we've always been. We tend to love our comfort zones! We embrace our beliefs as though they are the only reality. We enjoy our unconscious habits because it means that we can expend less energy in our day-to-day lives.
This is all fine as long as nothing meaningful changes. But the coming year could bring massive upheaval in some very unexpected ways. And if we are too rigidly entrenched in our old ways of being, we could go through some incredibly intense experiences.
So now is the time to mitigate that possibility, so you can ride the coming waves of change with grace and ease. To put it simply, we need to upgrade our consciousness.
I invite you to begin by tuning into your intuition. Do you sense big changes in the world ahead? These changes can unfold in good ways or bad ways. I sense that it will be some of both. Either way, it will feel very disruptive if we are not prepared.
Intuitively here's what it could feel like. It could feel like the energy in the world is in a state of grand flux. The fluctuations might feel like they come in waves - some big and some small. Take note of these waves, and see how different it feels from the way things were before. Remember that intuition doesn't always explain itself. That's why it's a great practice to learn to feel its messages on an energetic level.
If I were to compare the feeling I have today with how it felt maybe a year ago, I would say that a year ago things felt more stable than today. That doesn't necessarily mean that it felt good, just more stable. The rate of change was slower. You could kind of sense things on the horizon before they happened.
But something's different now. It feels more like changes could be sudden and unexpected. Kind of like we won't know what happens until it actually happens. And that's why I feel that today and probably through the weekend is such an important time to consciously let go of the past. It's also an opportunity to let go of how you assumed things were going to be.
After you tune into your intuition about the world at large, you want to be open to any guidance you might receive. Is something nudging you from within that it's time for a certain kind of change in your life? Do you sense a bit more urgency in terms of a need to make those changes?
Now if your answer to that is yes, then also understand that it may not be easy to make the necessary changes in how you see yourself and your life. I would caution you not to wait until it feels easy. It will never be easy to make deep or fundamental changes. This desire for change to feel easy usually masquerades as "I'm not ready yet." We love to validate that feeling in order to stay stuck in our personal status quo.
I mean, who can expect us to change anything if we're just not ready?
But here's the problem with that. The world is going to change whether we are ready or not. And that's why I say we need to be flexible. We need to shed our old ways of doing and being, and loosen up our consciousness so we can perceive life with greater clarity. We need to let go of old, unnecessary baggage in our consciousness, so that we can be more nimble, creative, and responsive to whatever situation we find ourselves in.
I'll use a surfing analogy. If a surfer waits to see how a wave is going to affect him or her, that person will definitely be knocked over by the wave. That's because they are waiting to react instead of responding intuitively and intelligently so they have a chance to ride that wave in perfect synchronicity with the wave itself.
We need to build up our intelligence and our consciousness to be able to effectively ride the waves of change that are coming in our world. Just like an inexperienced surfer, we can't afford to wait around while we live through unconscious patterns and beliefs. We can't wait to see what the wave looks like after the fact if we want to experience a decent outcome for ourselves in the coming days.
So I hope this has given you some food for thought on this eve of the solstice. Let's prepare ourselves now, so we can gift ourselves with the sovereignty that we each deserve.
I posted a new YouTube video on Tuesday about the crazy drone situation. There is definitely something big going on here! So if you missed it, I encourage you to check it out 😊🛸.
That's all for now! I hope you have a beautiful Christmas or whatever holiday you might be celebrating.
Sending you much love and lots of Christmas blessings,
Saratoga 🎄❤️
