There are dozens of underground chambers with interlocking wedges
And an intricate network of channels basins and sluices

It is all under 50 feet of water that when pumped out constantly gets replenished
The water comes from subterranean springs that contain healing properties
But entrance to it is blocked

The Osirian and the Coliseum in Rome were both massive water ionization plants
