Putin-Trump “Smell The Roses” As New Syrian War Erupts Between NATO Allies America-Turkey

An informative new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting President Putin personally approved asylum for ousted Syrian President Bashar Assad after he arrived in Moscow with his family, says it was then reported: “Yesterday, the opposition took full control of the Latakia province, including the cities of Tartus and Jableh...The opposition's armed forces did not and have no plans to penetrate the Russian military bases, which continue to operate normally” and Syrian opposition representative Anas Abdah declared: “I think that we should aim for good relations with Russia...I suppose that this is very important for both countries...Syria needs help with the restoration of homes and infrastructure, the return of refugees and displaced persons to the country...Russia is a very important player in the world, both regionally and internationally”.

As President Putin enjoys a “stop and smell the roses” respite while awaiting what happens next in Syria, this report notes, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova asked in response to the Reuters news service lyingly claiming ousted President Assad died in in plane crash: “I wonder if Reuters, which reported on Assad's highly likely death, will refute itself?”—a question that followed Elon Musk declaring “The New York Times is woke warmonger propaganda” on the message he reposted that observed: “Is the New York Times the most dangerous "news" organization in America?...It seems like it is captured by the military industrial complex”.

After President Joe Biden claimed credit for toppling President Assad to install a Syrian government best described as “Al Qaeda In Suits”, this report continues, the Pentagon announced: “U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces conducted dozens of precision airstrikes targeting known ISIS camps and operatives in central Syria, Dec. 8...The strikes against the ISIS leaders, operatives, and camps were conducted as part of the ongoing mission to disrupt, degrade, and defeat ISIS, in order to prevent the terrorist group from conducting external operations and to ensure that ISIS does not seek to take advantage of the current situation to reconstitute in central Syria...The operation struck over 75 targets using multiple U.S. Air Force assets, including B-52s, F-15s, and A-10”.

While watching the United States unleash tens-of-millions of dollars worth of bombs and missiles on Syria, this report details, top Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov revealed: “We are in dialogue with Turkey and other regional states, including on Syrian affairs...Indeed, there is a very difficult period in Syria now due to instability”—NATO member Turkey declared that its first priority is to wage war against American supported Kurdish forces in Syria—NATO member America now sees Turkish military forces attacking its Kurdish allies is Syria—and American lawmakers are now demanding that President Biden immediately place sanctions on its NATO ally Turkey because they are attacking the Kurds.
