RUSSIA DECLARES NEW U.S. MISSILE BASE IN POLAND AS PRIORITY TARGET
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zakharova criticized the opening of the U.S. missile defense base in Poland, calling it a provocative step increasing strategic risks.
On November 19, Poland inaugurated its first permanent U.S. military base in Redzikowo, equipped with the Aegis Ashore missile defense system, radar, and SM-3 launcher. Russia has added the base to its list of priority targets in the event of conflict.
