Last week Trump was at McDonald's. I am speculating here, but... it seems to me that if you eat from that chain... you are stupid or very young, but... on the way to not getting much smarter because you have stupid parents and then it's a matter of genetics too.

It was a smart play though... because... as it becomes more and more obvious to me... there are a lot of stupid people in America and that is a considerable voting bloc, which... logic says...would naturally... ordinarily... devolve to Kamala The Queen of Stupid... based on mutual attraction of the species.

This week he gets into a garbage truck because Biden fell into The Deplorable Pit; easier to fall into than to climb out of. Twice now he has followed up with comic relief at a gaff by The Other Side. Someone is doing some smart advising... unless he came up with these himself...which... is also possible.

I have cried out for some time now... for some amount of Gravitas to surface in Mr. Trump's persona. The fact is that I like Donald Trump, and it hurts me to see him play the buffoon unnecessarily. Yes... sometimes it is a good thing to use buffoonery as a ploy to trap and expose your enemies. I say this in case you were wondering about my use of the term... unnecessarily.

I have also been wishing and hoping he would display a greater amount of caginess, and this he is doing in these latest escapades. That is smart politics right there, a few steps up from kissing babies, and... several floors above biting them.

I don't know if he has discovered Froggie's Magic Twanger or... Felix's Magic Bag of Tricks, but whatever he has discovered has come right on time.

Everything is so different from last time around. Humor... rightly directed... can be a devastating weapon. It is said that if you laugh at The Devil... he will run from you... because he cannot abide ridicule. Given that The Devil is The Mind... when it is upside down... this can lead to all sorts of insights if you think about it long enough.

The World is upside down and appearances are deceiving... so... deception is the order of the day in business...advertising... politics... religion... and romance... along with most areas of material engagement. The World is hoodwinking everyone who lets their guard down; anyone who does not maintain a steady focus on what is before them... when any sort of exchange is going on. Let your attention be diverted... and your pocket will be picked or... your heart might get broken... that is always possible... especially in certain age demographics.

If I am clear-eyed and honest about what I see... it is not difficult for me to come to the conclusion that an alarming amount of people are stupid. This leaves me with 3 possibilities of response; contempt... indifference... or compassion. I might add that nearly all of us are stupid on occasion. That is what the sharks look out for. Anyone can be fooled and anyone can be taken in under the right circumstances... at the right moment.

You must be on guard in this world. Pay attention! I am advised to do this many... many times a day. One way to get what you want from others, by hook or by crook... is to give the impression that they can get what they want. A baited hook seldom goes unnoticed, and... as Lao Tzu has observed; even a fish would survive if he kept his mouth shut.

So... I look at the guile and machinations of politicians, and... in nearly every case... I am immune to the blandishments. It is because I don't want anything. However... there are things that I want for others. I hate to see people suffer from stupidity, unfocused desire, and unbridled appetite. Still... interfering in the lives of others... even for their own good... can create problems for you.

I always thought that helping people was a good thing, BUT... it can lead to complications; oh yes, precious! Being a good Samaritan can be lethal... if you stop your car for a lady and she is only a decoy. The roadsides of highways... and the highways themselves... are littered with dead animals in Spring... mostly, but... all year long to some extent because... there are two main reasons that an animal will cross the road, and they are sex and food. Humans are the same way, but the similar conditions are mostly blurred to the eyes of the observer, who is usually not watching or... introspective enough.

Politics is a form of magic. Politicians like to wave sugar plums in the eyes of their target audience, so as to get control of the sugar and the plums. I buy the idea that there are people who are motivated by altruistic ideals... just like law school students, and doctors, BUT... the level of attrition... when you factor in the impact of time and circumstance is... frightening. Few make it through unscathed in terms of their original intentions.

I now fully expect Trump to win... despite the shenanigans of Shapiro and The Usual Suspects in Pennsylvania, and all the other locations where they hope to steal the thing. However... they screwed things up so badly... that the voting from the other side and the ranks of the disaffected... is going to result in a landslide and a mandate.

I also... fully expect the morally bankrupted and corrupt Democrats to bite more babies and have more bad camera moments yet because of... The Hidden Hand. Destiny is going to get its way one way or the other. It's math.

They are also going to pull several stupid stunts that they are not going to be able to conceal the origin of, and I will end any sentence I feel like ending with a preposition any time I feel like it. It had to be said.

It is my opinion that The Avatar is already here. Certainly, his influence is, and that is all that matters, especially considering that it might be the intention of Heaven that he surfaces in the human heart at a wide reach... creating mirrors of The Divine, right... left... center, and... behind. Surely, he will be personified in a specific personality... with a specific doctrine that will get seriously doctored over the coming centuries, BUT... The Rock will be... and is... solid as a rock; except that nothing is as solid as it appears. As my good friend Hermes says;

“So thou hast the glory of the whole world; therefore let all obscurity flee before thee. This is the strong force of all forces, overcoming every subtle and penetrating every solid thing. So the world was created. Hence were all wonderful adaptations, of which this is the manner.”

Yeah... The Truth is Out There, BUT... The Truth is In There also, and it does make a difference where you look, as that amounts to what version you will find. Obviously, The Truth is of only one version, BUT... since it cannot be spoken or produced... we are left with versions, on... this... level.

Yes... we know that politicians have to meet a lower standard or they won't even draw an audience. We also know that they are The Organ Grinder's Monkey, and... you might also want to consider the implications of organ-grinding. We can only hope that Trump has learned a little discretion and foresight in the manner in which he chooses his friends and the state of awareness in which he keeps his enemies close.
