I'm from Europe. The US election is a hot topic here. When I speak to my collegues about this, they actually think Kamala would make a good president. I'm completely dumbfounded. How can they think a candidate from a party that has LIED for four years straight about the mental state of the president is a good candidate?! How can people be so dumb? Or I'm I the dumb one here? Anyway, it feels pretty lonely to be among people who just dont seem to think for themselves..

I'm 68 years old and I was named after Eisenhower and so was my brother Dwight, I never really thought about it but one day I was riding with my mom and I suddenly realized that my brother and I were named after Eisenhower. I asked my mom, I said, did you name me and Dwight after Eisenhower? She said, I sure did, you came along 7 years later so I wasn't sure if I was going to have another child and I sure didn't know if it would be a boy or a girl, so everything worked out perfect.

This got me interested in Eisenhower and I started reading about the man. I found out about the speech where he warned us about the military industrial complex and the danger of losing control of the government to the military. I believe this is what is happening now. They want to get rid of the middle class regular people and replace them with a bunch of fools. I have always tried to avoid politics and religion but now it's become impossible.
