As I recall, Ray Peat, PhD, an authority the above podcasters are very familiar with, once stated that sugar can prevent cancer from metastasizing by providing it with something to consume, otherwise it will spread in an effort to search for a source of energy (your muscles, fat, etc.). Apologies, but I don't recall which podcast.
