Storm Boris is lashing large parts central and eastern Europe. Torrential rains, high winds and flooding have killed people in Romania, Poland and Austria. Thousands more have been forced to flee as water levels rise - washing away homes and livestock. Authorities in the Czech Republic say four people are missing. in Poland a week ago there was a dramatic drought, you could paddle via the biggest river in Vistula and people discovered artefacts in the river.

Sending prayers to those affected. Here in Vietnam we also just battled one of the most catastrophic typhoons in decades that resulted in tremendous loss of lives. It is hard to learn that the same happens to the beautiful European countries. In Asia, we believe that if the the lunar year is the year of the Dragon, there will be bad floodings/storms (in the past Dragon years the weather were also deadly - year 1904 and year 1964). I hope everything will soon pass and things will get better to everyone in the world.
