In Tennessee, we are a month into the school year. 1000 students is less than one school in most places. But if they are shutting down to clean, guess what, it didn't work last time. Everyone shut down in 2020 and C19 still spread in 2021 and 2022. The kids who were locked down and/or masked last time fell terribly behind for the next 3 years and may never catch up with their earlier peers.

Remote learning was a horrible failure. Most of the kids logged in and then wondered off and played with their toddler siblings. The fact is, less than 15% of kids learn a year's worth of growth that way. If they shut down your child's school, I strongly urge you to homeschool, form learning pods or hire a teacher to take care of teaching about 12 students in a home. You HAVE to stay on it. Those who can read, write and do math with a reasonable knowledge of science and history will definitely have an advantage over those who do not. Don't let your kids be their guinea pigs.

Our children don't deserve this, they have been through enough! It did so much damage to them the last time emotionally, socially and to their education. So what are they going to do or say about all the illegal immigrants-will they push the shot on them!
