Schools teach children that, when it comes to slavery, America was the worst.

But Wilfred Reilly, author of “Lies My Liberal Teacher Taught Me,” says that’s just not true.

“Slavery around the world, was slavery,” says Reilly in our new video.

He believes it’s better to teach the truth - that almost every society had slavery: the Aztecs, Persians, Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Vikings, and most of all, the Islamic world.

American slavery was horrible. But it wasn’t unique.

Our culture would be healthier if we learned about that.

And we mustn't forget the Celtic slaves, or that the free Irish were at the bottom of the totem pole way back because they had a tendency to be. . .noncompliant. Then there's also the Dalits of India. What's being forced to clean what there is of the sewer systems of Kolkata, or what ever?

At the expense of those who aren't. It seems counterproductive to aid people for moronic life decisions. We help the intellectually lazy who can't think of consequences, and bury themselves so deep they will never get out, we promote the parasites generating more parasites, we welcome hostile invaders, and now we're paying the price not only for what I mentioned but for the brilliant idea of having a debt based economy which is now past its shelf life.

Glad I'm in my twilight years. Being born into this mess is my idea of a nightmare.
