Even to this day the thrill I get when taking off in an airplane, any kind of airplane is not matched by any other moment on earth. That thrill caused me to write music to describe how it feels to me or any competent pilot. And...even a few passengers that are so impressed they learn how to fly. I'm getting old for flying and put my decades in flying for a major airline. They paid me, but I would have done it for free except for having to feed my family in some way.
