I'm not going to watch this video but I am going to comment. Forty-eight years ago this summer (1976) I met a 16 year old girl who had been deeply hurt and scarred. But, she was the warmest, kindest, and most compassionate person I had ever seen. This was evident even to my 18 year old pea brain in the way she treated children, old people, and animals, and yes, even me. She loved simple things...(a burger and fries kind of gal).

I married her, and she's been beside me for 47 years now. Four children, four Grandchildren and lots of love. Best decision I ever made, outside of deciding to follow Christ.

My first wife had none of these traits. I didn't recognize it at first but after five long years, I realized my mistake and moved on. My current wife of 28 years now, has every one of these traits. I am a very fortunate man.

I've been married 32 years, and my wife checks all these boxes, so it much be a pretty darn good list. Unfortunately, with only 1 exception, I'm not seeing these in the pool of women that my 3 sons are around. I really feel for them. Tough world for them.
