Here’s why most people are not healthier and how you can be

About a month ago, I was talking with a woman in her mid-eighties who had become a customer of the ionic silver company I run. She had learned about the product from Rumor Mill News. I was giving her advice for her health. She had issued with her intestines. I told her to eat more of a plant-based diet and got into the simplest of details on the how and why to go about that. She said, “That makes good sense. Nobody ever told me that before. I’m going to do that.” Nobody ever told her that before. I believe it.

I was at an event on June 25 called “Billionaires” for people who own and/or manage huge wealth. It was about how to become a billionaire. I was a vocal member of the audience. During Q&A I asked the host and their guest speaker what happens if the very wealthy use the money that far exceeds what they could ever spend collaboratively for helping humanity instead of just for more profit with no regard to the harm they’re causing.

They didn’t have a reply. The host simply said they can’t do good until they have the wealth, and the guest, who runs the wealthy for a billion-dollar family, just said, “We’re kind.” Then he gave as an example the company he recently bought that had an employee who didn’t have health insurance. “We paid to get them health insurance.” (Later that man asked me to join him for a private talk over lunch.)

The host gave a talk on the various things it takes to become a billionaire. Finding a choke point where everyone will have to come to you (sounds unhealthy for humankind, but maybe that’s just me). Almost obsessive focus (also doesn’t sound healthy after the first few hundred million is already amassed).

Then he added, “Eat foods that have been minimally changed by humans from how nature provided them, and move your body very often. I don’t know why everyone isn’t doing those two things. We know we should do them, and yet most people don’t. I don’t know why that is.”

I piped up from my seat near the back of the room, “I know why.” Everyone laughed. By then I was a known entity, having spoken up earlier that day about how odd it was that Warren Buffett and others say they’ll give away their wealth when they die but they keep making more in ways that harm people.

I was probably seen by most as a bit of an agitator in a good way, and I’m sure they found me likable.

“Okay,” the host said. “Tell us why.”

“It’s what I was talking about earlier,” I said. “It’s our socioeconomic culture that says if it can’t be patented or monopolized and make a small number of people a great deal of money it doesn’t get resources, studies, promotion, and support. That’s why I watch TV and constantly see ads for poisonous drugs with very harmful side effects, but I’ve never once seen an ad promoting and supporting people in eating the way you suggested and in frequently getting movement to be healthy.”

Foods that make the few the most profit are advertised like crazy. Simple, natural, healthy foods are not.

There you have it.

Now what?

Well, there are a few things you can do about it.

One is to see the section below about my work and see what you think once you learn about the ionic silver and my efforts to spread it while also accelerating the use of large wealth to benefit humanity.

Another is to consider the ramifications of what I stated above. If most of the money and resources and promotion goes to things that a small number of people can monopolize and rich on, what does that leave? Well, it means there may be a wealth of information on ways you can be much healthier that you just haven’t heard about much, or if you have you haven’t heard about them often enough and with enough fanfare and support to motivate you to incorporate those things into your life.

It's not easy to ignore very happy people dancing and singing in a TV commercial for a pharmaceutical drug (though for some reason it seems easy to ignore the official-sounding, low-volume, very calm voice listing all the ways that poisonous drug can harm and kill you).

Where are the dancing and singing people in TV commercials touting the virtues of eating healthy and getting movement? There are none. So, it’s up to you to do three things, which I encourage you to do:

1. Realize that it’s possible that a wealth of really, really good information exists if you look for it beyond what’s in the ads and beyond what the doctor was indoctrinated with (and makes money on) and what the FDA has to say (which is substantially funded by the pharmaceutical industry and even run by people who move back and forth between the FDA and being an executive at a pharmaceutical company).

2. Learn! It’s not rocket science! Well, it is a bit challenging, I realize. There’s so much conflicting information about what constitutes a healthy diet, let alone there being very little support and guidance on how to live accordingly, and there’s even a lot of misguided information about how to move your body in a healthy way. But good info is out there. If you ignore the YouTube pseudo-experts phenomenon and learn from PhD-level experts who have a history of healing tens of thousands of people and dedicating their lives to helping others rather than getting rich on their services, things take on a consistent theme. Likewise, on going about movement, let me just state that some light stretching, some aerobic activity, some resistance, all in moderation, is what you want, without extremes and without straining your body and your nervous system. To take it to a higher level you can practice tai chi.

3. Incorporate what you’ve learned. I’ll do what I can here to help you with that. It’s much easier than you might think. The harder parts are learning and believing what’s really good for you, and learning how to go about the changes that are involved. Once you get it, doing it really isn’t that hard at all.

“Great, Jay. So now what?”

My advice is based on decades of learning, including from a number of people who have healed tens of thousands of people that the mainstream medical field had said were “incurable.” Plus, I live all of this.

Here’s a brief rundown of some of my advice:

<>Eat healthier. Based on everything I’ve learned, that means more natural food from the plant kingdom. Organic when possible. Fresh or cooked greens with every meal as much as possible. (A world-famous PhD friend of mine says, “Greens are the great equalizer.”) Salads. Avocados. Steamed broccoli, asparagus, green beans, mushrooms, peppers, cauliflower, etc. Or cooked some other way, with olive oil, coconut oil, or avocado oil if lightly frying. Home-cooked organic brown rice. Organic brown rice pasta with organic olive oil or red sauce. Quinoa. Lentils. Black beans. Sweet potatoes. These things are awesome and extremely healthy!

How much space would I need to list all the healthy fruits and vegetables nature makes available to us?

Organic raw almond butter. Hemp seeds. Fresh-squeezed organic lemon. Green smoothies. Fresh juicing.

I recommend changing gradually. It’s not a matter of more willpower and deprivation over time. Changing gradually lets your body detox gradually and it’s then better able to absorb the nutrients in the healthy foods better, so you never notice any deprivation. Your appetite genuinely changes.

Take a long-term approach. Sometimes good changes result in feeling like crap for a brief time because of the healing and detox they incur. Just go slowly. It’s what I call exerting “a little willpower all the time, never a lot.” This way your appetite will dictate when to go slower, faster, or backward. Just be patient.

And remember that adding healthy foods, especially greens with every meal to the extent that it’s feasible, doesn’t involve depriving yourself of anything. It’s just adding. Yes, try to taper down what you know you shouldn’t be eating, but first focus on adding the good stuff. The rest will also happen in time.

Processed foods, even if plant-based, are not good for you. Meat is not good for you! (I can show you thousands of cases of people who were cured of advanced cancer by using a plant-based healing diet, and numerous PhDs and other doctors with the experience of healing tens of thousands of people with a plant-based diet. Carnivore is not sustainable long-term unless it’s a very light diet overall.) Dairy is not good for you! No animal on the planet consumes milk after it’s done weening. It causes mucous! (Get the book “The China Study” and see that the largest study on diet ever done says to eat plant foods!)

Don’t worry, it really will get easy.

Next:

Movement. Walking is the most underrated exercise there is. But do it in a way that deliberately “relaxes” the habituated tensions and contractions in the tissues, joints, and nerves. This means a lot! Let your arms swing with no tension. Let the hip joints smoothly dance like pendulums. Lift the back of your head to elongate the spine and open the space at the back of the neck, yet then also drop all the tension in the body from the top down without collapsing that gentle elongation of the spine and neck. Relax your breathing so it’s into your belly, longer, slower, and deeper, releasing tension and anxiety with each exhalation. Soften the focus of your eyes. Relax!!! Bath in the luxurious natural rhythm of walking.

Then there’s swimming. Not for exertion, but for relaxed gentle rhythmic movement. I like stretching while in the water. Nothing forced.

Most of what I’ve learned through my life is that exercise that introduces stress and strain into the system is counterproductive (and I have a wealth of experience ranging from Shaolin kung fu, which I still practice at 67 in a class with twenty-year-olds just fine) to the most advanced forms of relaxation and tension-release practices. That’s the point: relax and relieve tension so you can allow your body to heal and build health the way it naturally knows how to do.

How about dancing? Not too rigid, now. Gentle, releasing, and most of all having fun.

Fun, joy, and being happy, are keys to being healthy. Which is more important? Who cares; do both!

Anxiety and stress are counterproductive to being healthy. Avoid stress. Seek what makes you happy.

You know all of this. I’m just reminding you. Drink plenty of healthy water on a consistent basis. Get good sleep at the optimal hours. Eat during daylight hours.

Enjoy your life! A study of people who live to be over 100 years old revealed they had one thing in common: they were happy people! They loved life and couldn’t wait to get up and live to see tomorrow! If they grieved, they got it out of their system and went on with life! Diet and movement are of course vitally impactful but so are emotions. The difference is diet and movement are physical so you can see what’s happening, while emotions are abstract and therefore not as easy to improve, but you can!

Practice the breathing and relaxing I mentioned above for walking when you’re sitting quietly for a few minutes, or even standing quietly. Stretch very gently in various creative ways while standing out in nature. Spend time out in nature! Allow the inner dialog to slow down and get quiet periodically, and tune into the force of life that is in you and all around you. Sure, you know what you know about God and all that, but maybe sometimes it’s best to quiet the inner dialog, the “verbal knowing,” and let the quietness inside open you up to letting the “all-knowingness of all that is” and creation itself to flow through you, to better heal and guide you, more from a feeling and intuitive level than with words.

I think of it in terms of “Letting go to better flow.” (Yes, there might be a book and/or training coming by that name coming soon.) As I mentioned once to someone in admin at RMN, who suggested that I “write that down and post that,” try to relax and release habituated tension in your body and nerves and let go in order to get your old past “repeatedly playing of old tapes” self out of the way so the genuine, authentic, moment to moment deeper, higher being of creation itself that exists and experiences and expressed in your and through you can flow in a less and less impeded way.” Or something like that.

I’m not sure how I said it to him, exactly. I’m not sure how to say it best to you now. In fact, I’m the guru of “I don’t know.” Try that a little here and there. Let go of knowing what you already know for a few moments. Feel and know by letting go and letting the intent of creation flow through you unimpeded.

Breathe. Deeply in through the nose, through the throat, diaphragm, and deep into the whole abdomen. Slowly, gently. Longer and longer breaths. And on each exhalation release habituated tension, contraction, anxiety, and thought patterns. Just release and relax. “Aaaahhh. That feels better.”

That’s a key to healing and health, to happiness and wellbeing. The breath of life accessing the whole body and whole being. Releasing the habituated strain on the nerves is super powerful for allowing the body to heal in the way it intuitively knows how to do and miraculously is able to do. Allow it. Just let go.

Just be in awe of being alive.

I’m working to genuinely accelerate the evolution of using wealth and investing in ways that consider the impact on humankind and the planet.
