I've been the single mother (for years) and even during my marriage, I did most of the work. Raising three wonderful children, part-time work, yard work, carpentry, cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc, etc, etc.. It's part of the reason that I got a divorce..:-)

Not all chicks are like this, but the one I used to get here (through birth) was one of these on steroids. From a young age, I knew the last thing I wanted to be was a worthless liability like her.

I think everyone should be programmed to be self-sufficient. I wonder if the gender wars would end then? Me and my nosey-poo work together for the common good. Different skill sets vital to the unit. Comrades in arms. No 'co-ownership', either; though neither of us is inclined to rock the boat because we just don't want to.
