It was only a matter of time before our unelected, socialist government decided to use women in the draft. Women have been fighting alongside their men for quite some time. But the draft was deep-sixed a long time ago. As for women fighting in wartime, I think that has been going on for as long as there have been wars. The part that amuses me, thus the title, is how the loony left manages to make their moves sound beneficial for women. Remember the fifties? Most women, at least in the US, were stay at home moms. But, make it sound like it was a giant leap forward for women's rights, and we just embraced it. As I said at the time, we used to take care of the home, the cooking, cleaning, child care, etc. After we were 'freed' we filled jobs normally done by men and still did most of the 'women's work at home. Damn, I feel so blessed.

Nations like Israel have 'drafted' women since Israel became a country. I was ready to jump on that bandwagon in 1966, when I went to the Army Recruiting Office in town and tried to join. After a short conversation, the recruiter said, "I don't think the military is quite ready for someone like you just yet." I was highly insulted, but the years have enlightened me that the recruiter was pretty perceptive. No way would I follow orders that I didn't agree with.

So, it was only a matter of time before the same Marxist Elites, after ruining our men for service, would turn to the other half of the population. For what? To have more cannon fodder for the Russian meat grinder? And, with both parents serving in our military, that would give our government all the excuse they need to take over child care. Wow! Well, the armed services can at least blow off the dust from the pink high heels that Obama gave them.
