Nicola Tesla hasn't stopped spinning in his grave because people continue to believe in non existent particles that were invented by particle theorists. Tesla constantly railed against particalists like Einstein and their imaginary particles till the day he died.
Tesla was a field theorists who understood what light was, which is a "rate of electromagnetic inductance". So was Oliver Heaviside, James Clerk Maxwell, JJ Thompson, Charles Proteus Steinmetz, Michael Faraday and many others, and they all believed in the Ether, not particles.
So where did particle theorists get this idea of "photons" from? Oddly enough they got it from dissecting "inductance", which is a EM frequency comprised of compressions and rarefactions. But instead of accepting that inductance is just a electromagnetic frequency comprised of these two components, the particle theorists decided that the compressions were a packet of light that they called a "photon", and the rarefactions they labeled as "waves", when it's neither. It's just a electromagnetic frequency that is induced into physical matter using the Ether as the medium of exchange, which is the medium that transfers energy from a light point source into surrounding matter.
But because particle theory is based on "abstract mathematical concepts", math plays the most important role to the particalists, so they have to invent particles like photons so that their math can have numbers that they can count and from there they crunch their numbers in their computer models and pretend to understand universal mechanics.
And because most people don't understand how light operates they'll believe anyone today with a PHD. Ether theory is superior to particle theory, hands down, because Ether theory isn't fraught with paradoxes and dualities like particle theory is. A duality means an inherent conflict, well, mother nature isn't conflicted with herself but I have no doubt that particle theorists most certainly do have inherent conflicts within their minds because only a particle theorists would mistake a frequency of light for imaginary particles and waves.
So how does light actually work? Well first you have to unlearn particle theory and understand what the Ether is. The Ether is absolute unlimited potential energy at absolute rest. And when a light point source creates perturbations in the Ether, that light energy is transferred through the Ether into surrounding matter. The Ether is everywhere, and it acts as a medium to exchange energy from one place to another. So you don't need to invent photons to understand how light energy is transferred.
A light point source is a star or a laser, or something as simple as a single candle flame. These light point sources cause perturbations in the Ether. Think of perturbations as "excitements of energy", and surrounding matter is made of hydrogen. And each hydrogen atom has a nucleus which is anchored directly into the Ether. And hydrogen has properties of capacitance, resistance, magnetic permeability and dielectric permittivity. These properties allow hydrogen to absorb perturbations of energy from the Ether through their nucleus and they all light up independently. So there are no photons travelling anywhere from a candle flame to the wall, it's the hydrogen in the wall itself that are independently lighting up from the energy transfer caused by the candle flame creating perturbations in the Ether. The human eye cannot see the operation of "light" itself, what we see is illumination. Everything illuminates because it's made of hydrogen which is absorbing the light energy from the Ether that a light point source is creating.
This is the Ether theory that Tesla and many other great minds of the past understood and it's high time people started understanding the difference between particle theory and Ether theory. This doesn't mean bioluminescence isn't real, it simply means how light actually operates within bioluminescence is not what most people thought it was because they were taught bad science known as "particle theory". Mother nature is far more simple than particle theory will ever be because there are no particles travelling anywhere. Electromagnetic light frequencies are simply "induced" into other things using the Ether as the means of transferring that light energy.
