Went to the forest. I watched. Decided I didn’t like it. Then I dove into the ocean. I watched the fish eating each other. I decided I didn’t like it. I went to a mega-city. I watched the people. I didn’t like it. I watched people getting born, live, suffer and die. I didn’t like it. I went to the desert. I didn’t like it. I looked up, saw the sun, experienced it moving, experienced hot, cold, and experienced the weather, wind, tornadoes, floods, earthquakes, I didn’t like it.

Then I realized that I didn’t create the forest, ocean, mega-city, people, desert, sun, weather. I came to understand that I am a visitor, a tourist.

I sat and pondered all I had seen and experienced. I analyzed my mind’s thoughts about life, and decided I didn’t like them. Then I realized my mind was just like life, doing what life does. I didn’t tell my mind to shut up. I didn’t call it crazy. I started watching my thoughts and the emotions they sparked. I started to watch my body and its needs, and desires. I didn’t yell at my body. I didn’t scream at my emotions. I just watched.

Then I wondered about who is this “I” that is watching, that has no comment, that has no opinions, that has no preferences? Who is the this “I” that only observes? Who is this “I” that is at peace, joyful, having a good time watching all things it didn’t create? It was then that I decided I would train my mind to become a a watcher, an observer, rather than a commentator. And it worked.

My mind now has no preferences, opinions, biases, prejudices, beliefs, and does not draw conclusions about stuff it didn’t create. Now even my mind enjoys life just as it is. Why? Because I helped my mind dump all its training, conditioning, programming, indoctrination, brainwashing and all the propaganda it had been subjected to since birth. Now my mind does not have a way life must go, and because it has no way life must go it doesn’t get annoyed, irritated, upset, angry. Now, both the “I” and my mind are one. We’re on the same page. Life is no longer a problem because I am just a tourist, a temporary visitor. And I am having a blast.

HOWEVER, there is a part of my mind that still exerts GENETIC MEMORY, says wild things, weird things, crazy stuff. When it does that I watch, relax, release, let go, and laugh my asterisk off. My genetic memory is very entertaining, just like EVERY person, place, and thing that make up THE MOVIE CALLED LIFE.

LIFE DOESN’T SUCK. AN UNTRAINED MIND JUST THINKS IT SUCKS.
