Dennis Prager is just spouting off the 60 years old talking point: "the moment the Palestinians drop their weapons there will be peace. The moment Israel drop its weapons, the Jews will be massacred". Totally false! The PA (Palestinian Authority) dropped their weapons and they are now just slaves, with Jewish settlers taking their land and they can not do much. All they can do is to complain to the right wing Israeli government and get some runaround response.

When Palestinian children marched for peace (about 14 years ago), they were met with machine fire! When unarmed Palestinian teenagers protested at the border fence (about 5 years ago), they were shot up by IDF snipers! Today, Israel says, "return the hostages and you will get a TEMPORARY ceasefire". Hamas says, "give us 3000 of our people locked up and a total ceasefire, and we will return all the hostages".

Israel's condition is ridiculous on the surface, demanding the return of hostages for a short ceasefire, and then full scale war again. Hamas's conditions are more realistic, but Americans will not know any better. Dennis Prager will make sure that Israel's talking points are the only talking point heard by Americans.
