In times past the great persecution and holocaust was the throwing of Christians to the lions in Rome. This went on for years as the Christians were thrown to hungry lions so the cheering crowds could enjoy an adrenaline rush at the expense of dying human beings.

But something remarkable happened, some of those in the stadium started to empathize and have sympathy towards those being killed. They were so impressed with the singing families as they approached death and admired the attitude of the Christians, that they started to jumping into the coliseum arena to join the Christians in death.

This happened more and more until even some of the Roman senators’ children were jumping into the arena to die with the Christians. It was when it touched the lives of the Roman leaders that they decided to end the entertainment practice of killing Christians in the coliseum.

Today we are witnessing an apartheid regime enforcing tyrannical laws to purge and destroy an ethnic group they admittedly hate - and quote religious scriptures to justify the literal genocide of their enemies.

History is repeating itself before our eyes in real time – and our political leaders in Washington, DC wholeheartedly support this genocide. None of them should be re-elected. None of them.

Having expressed sympathy for the Palestinians being murdered on a wholesale basis, I am not in favor of war. I am against the Israelis waging wage, and also stand against the Palestinians waging war. Why? Because there are other options that can be chosen to avoid war and genocide.

It has been proven for thousands of years that it is better to avoid confrontations than to go to war. It has also been proven that practicing revenge is not the answer. Making war creates more war and violence. This creates a never-ending cycle of hatred and violence.

The best path to take in these situations where a people face tyrants with an army, is to migrate out of that area and live in peace somewhere else. The Christians that survived the great holocaust proved this point by migrating further west into Europe and then to America. They out lived their enemies.

Simply put, it is better to allow providence to take care of tyrants. In time, the Roman empire collapsed, and the people became Christians. The same is true with the apartheid Israeli regime. Let it be judged by its own actions, and stay away from conflicts with them and avoid them entirely.

The problem is, the politically active Muslims that are anti– Zionists are promoting war as the answer. They excite the Palestinians and all Muslims to go to war with Israel and die for that cause. They tell the Gazans to wave their dead babies in front of cameras to get support for more war.

They tell the Muslims that if you or your children die in these conflicts, you go to heaven as a martyr and get 72 virgins. (Try to wrap your head around that logic) This has become a death cult to the extreme. This is why I stopped showing photos of dead babies and other innocent Gazans who have died - because the entire premise for showing them for radicals, is to promote more war.

But, war is not the answer. Death should never be glorified. Killing people or sacrificing yourself should never be promoted as an answer. Pushing revenge is archaic, wrong minded and only perpetuates more violence and war.

I am against all war, on both sides of this issue. It takes two sides to make a war happen. If one side refuses to fight and avoids conflict, there is no war.

Yes, the Israelis are doing terrible, horrific things. But we aren’t responsible for what they decide to do. We are only responsible for what we do ourselves. What is the answer?

Leave the Israelis alone.

Let them stand or fall in future times by their own actions.

If any nation will do evil to others they should be sanctioned by other nations - so no trade is done with them and they’re not rewarded for the anti-human things they might do.

The Palestinians should leave that area entirely and “fight no more forever”. They should pursue life, peace and happiness with their children for generations to come in a new land. People need to realize that as human beings, their lives are worth more than any one piece of ground. How great does an ethnic group want to be? Does one small piece of ground define their greatness and legacy? I would hope not. All mankind should strive to be greater than a few square miles on earth.

Terrorism is not the answer regardless how evil one nation is against others. Terrorism only imitates their enemies’ actions in another form. It is just as ugly and just as violent and anti-human.

There are always “justifications” for war and revenge. Both sides can state their case to validate going to war and committing terrorist acts. But, it is still wrong minded.

The problem is, we are dealing with primal, unbridled emotions when it comes to conflicts and war. It is exciting to hear a speaker use fancy words to inspire people to rise up against their enemies. However, that adrenaline flow can and does lead to the deaths of human beings. It is a deadly drug that leads to crying families and fatherless children.

Only on very rare cases does a war movement end up in victory and a new “just and fair” government. The Muslim extremists are pushing for that victory against the Israelis, at the expense of this situation in Gaza to 13,000 children dead, and 33,000 innocent Palestinians dead. But the truth is, it is a futile struggle.

The most that can be hoped for is at some time in the future, and after millions more have been killed, that Israel would be hit with nuclear bombs, and all the Muslim nations in the Middle East would also be destroyed by Israeli nukes. A thinking Muslim must ask themselves, is it worth it?

The majority of Jews in Israel don’t want this war, they want peace with the Palestinians. They are protesting with vigor and deep emotions against the Zionist regime. In time, this stand against a barbaric political movement will bear good fruit.

Unfortunately, both sides are continuing to justify their actions and call for war. Time is running out for the possibility of peace. The Palestinians are being led by the hypnotic pied pipers that promote death of themselves and their children on the promise of a golden Paradise in the sky. It is literally a death cult.

What is the answer? They have to recognize the deception, reject it and then choose life. More killing is not the answer. But I fear that things have gone too far now - so far that it is unlikely there is a way out of an inevitable clash that leads to the destruction of both sides. This will not end well, and the violence will eventually spill over to our own nation. George Eaton
