In the past two years adversaries have been facing each other in Ukraine and Iran. Nato and Israel feel they are right, and Russia and Iran feel they are right. This is how wars are started, with two opposing sides believing they have the moral imperative and justification to go to war.
The terrorists bombing in Moscow that killed 143 Russian citizens has sparked the Russian leadership to take the war against Ukraine and the west to a higher level.
The latest bombing of the Iranian embassy in Syria by Israel has motivated the Iranians to launch their largest missiles against Israeli targets. No one knows when that attack will take place or exactly what the targets will be, but it appears inevitable.
This has happened before, albeit to a lesser degree. After the US assassinated a top Iranian general in Iraq, the US braced themselves for a counter attack by Iranian missiles. It took place like clockwork against one of our military bases in the middle east, and the US elected not to retaliate. However, the situation now is much different.
Israel is activated in a state of war against Hamas and Hezbollah which are considered proxies of Iran. If Israel is attacked in any way, they will feel obligated to respond immediately before they are hit with nuclear weapons, which from intelligence inner circles have concluded they possess apx. 15 nuclear bombs.
Israel feels obligated to prevent a nuclear strike by Iran because they are so small and surrounded by enemies on all sides. One nuke could change the existence status of Israel for generations. Israel has 200-400 nukes, and the means to deliver them. If they are hit with a major blow, they will retaliate and destroy entire cities in Iran, and possibly other nations that are siding with Iran.
But this is expected by the Iranians. And, in their religious beliefs they feel that if they are attacked in such a manner that their messiah will come and defend them. This means they have no fear of what Israel or the US can do to them. It would end up being mass chaos, with millions of Muslims marching towards Israel to overwhelm their defenses.
Then you add the fact that Russia is also involved in this conflict in Syria, and having lost hundreds of soldiers over the years to Israeli and US bombings – and you can see the possibility of Russia joining on the side of Iran and Palestine.
The US and Israel are provoking this war and the Russians have been gritting their teeth and have been holding back for years now. But that patience may come to an end.
If Russia and Iran hit Israel in a preemptive attack it would end the power of Israel immediately. But the result could possibly see the US using nukes against Russian targets, and then a retaliation by Russia against US and European targets.
If Israel and the US hits Iran in a preemptive attack, it would only spark a wider war from neighboring Muslim nations and the full support of Russia against the US and Israel. And that could lead to a direct nuclear confrontation between the US and Russia.
What we are witnessing is a short waiting period, before Iran retaliates. In times past these ‘tit for tat’ retaliations have been measured and controlled by both sides to prevent an out-of-control war breaking out.
The “second action” is when Israel and the west decides to take the conflict to a much higher level - where Iran and Russia feel obligated to also respond in a higher level. Both Iran and Russia feel justified and morally obligated to defend their nations against the strong possibility of complete destruction by the west.
Because of the severity of the conflicts, they feel they have no choice but to use nuclear weapons. Once the nuclear threshold is breeched, the west will also feel obligated to use their nuclear weapons. But, the side that uses the larger nukes first has the advantage, and that is why this situation is so dangerous. Iran and Russia may conclude that they MUST use the larger nukes FIRST or else they will be defeated on the battle field and then destroyed.
The US and Israel may conclude that the time is right to do a preemptive attack on Iran - after the retaliation from Iran takes place. This means that the stage is set with the dominos in place to fall one at a time towards a nuclear war.
The chances of this going nuclear in the next few weeks is about 55%. Before the embassy bombing in Syria and the Moscow terrorist attack, the risk of things going nuclear was at 40%. This is a factual and definitive escalation of nuclear war that cannot be ignored.
I am hoping that after the retaliation by Iran, that Israel and the US will not respond. This would allow things to go back to a typical standoff situation on both sides, with measured military actions from that point forward.
However, there are extenuating circumstances on both sides that make that hope fade away on an hourly basis. Russia has just ordered a war ship to go into the Red Sea where the US and other Nato nations are attacking Yemen on a daily basis. An incident in that relatively crowded area could spark a wider war.
The Gazan massacre has the nations on edge as Israel and the US, a partnership made in hell, are hell-bent on continuing the genocidal attacks against innocent people - until the last Gazan standing is obliterated off the face of the earth.
A billion Muslims don’t like this. The Russians don’t like this. But it continues day after day as the death count has now exceeded 33,000. The cities in Gaza no longer exist. All the schools, hospitals and businesses are wiped out, gone.
The Zionist apartheid government of Israel will not allow the Gazans to occupy their own land, ever. The Israelis have plans for that territory. They will build a new massive canal that will compete with the Suez Canal. They will take the oil and gas deposits, build ports, and beach front condos and bring in Jewish settlers to occupy that land. And those settlers, as sincere, religious and pious as they are, believe by their own admission, in killing men, women and children to acquire land. Afterall, they keep reminding us, that they are the chosen people of God don’t ya know, and they deserve to rule.
However, this is the way I look at it: “You will know them by their fruits.” Killing innocent men, women and children is not a righteous virtue by any stretch of the imagination.
What the news media is not telling the US public is that millions of Israelis are protesting day and night to get the war party removed from office so that a peace agreement can be made with the Palestinians. Not all Jews are Zionists.
The Zionists live by the golden rule alright: Those with the gold, make the rules.
This will not end well. Each side believes they are right, and both sides have plenty of weapons to back up their claims. Unfortunately, this time, this conflict has the real potential to go nuclear, and that will hit our own soil. George Eaton
