I live in Belgium. The Bank I have been working with for 5 years has 5x branches in my immediate area. In the last 12 months, they have shuttered 3 of them. The other 2 are open, but you cannot see anyone without an appointment. No tellers, nothing but machines. Here people pay their bills online, or physically walk into the bank to drop cash in a machine to upload it into their accounts. Last week I tried 3 different times to deposit money into the account. The machine would not allow me to.

I used to design and build custom homes in our state, and I would bet against being able to meet all the requirements for a fully stamped home without actually permitting it or having inspectors come out. Your subs and engineers would basically be the ultimate rock stars if they could pull it off. Guys can do great work and still fail inspections due to new esoteric codes and zealous inspectors. Maybe it's better there than in Pierce Co. though... The other thing is not being grandfathered in, so when you go to get a permit they don't have to accept the building under the codes as they were at the time of building.

Then I spent 6 months daily praying for her removal. She took 200k out of her joint account with lawyer boy friend according to neighbors who knew her. They were co-owners on the house. He gave her two weeks to get out! These people take up a lot of our time.
