A Joe Biden Subpoena Is Happening

(PatrioticPost.com)- As Republicans take back the House and prepare to launch investigations into the president, a new GOP panel is preparing to issue subpoenas to those in federal agencies in an attempt to expose their corruption, according to The Washington Examiner. The “weaponization of government” panel is reportedly ready to investigate the Department of Justice’s effort to criminalize parents.

New York Rep. Elise Stefanik, an appointee of the new Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, said that Republicans will expose the corruption enduring in the Biden administration and will use their majority to obtain documents and testimony.

“I anticipate there will be subpoenas, not just from this select subcommittee but from many of the agencies that have refused to comply with document requests,” she said, adding that the Biden administration has already tried to create obstacles to their attempts.

GOP members of the panel had reportedly held their first private meeting, with Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan already issuing letters demanding information. The five letters reportedly aim to dig into the Department of Justice’s memo that defended the National School Boards Association letter calling parents domestic terrorists and asking the FBI to investigate threats to school boards, as well as the Department of Homeland Security’s short-lived “Disinformation Governance Board,” headed by Nina Jankowitz.

Stefanik said that the DOJ’s defense of the NBSA was a “government weaponization at its worst” and committed to getting to the bottom of what occurred and why, noting that “legislative reforms” will follow.

While the NSBA has since rescinded its letter calling parents domestic terrorists, the DOJ’s Attorney General Merrick Garland has not rescinded his October 2021 memo that called for the FBI to reportedly investigate threats against school boards.

Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco came out as another ally of the memo, stating the importance of investigating “criminal conduct and violence.”
