Whitney Webb and I Are a Pair
by Mary W Maxwell, PhD, LLB
Yesterday, December 19, 2022, I received, via snail mail, a heavy book. Not heavy as in ponderous -- we'll get to that in a moment -- but physically heavy. The book is entitled "One Nation Under Blackmail: The Sordid Union between Intelligence and Organized Crime That Gave Rise to Jeffrey Epstein."
The author is a young woman, Whitney Webb. Her magnum opus occupies 950 pages, which requires two volumes. It is heavily footnoted, and very easy to read.
This article by me is not a book review, as such. You should simply buy the book if you wish to learn the particulars of what the title promises. (Go on, order it. Get it into your Christmas stocking.) I'm here to make a general comment about the subject matter. I claim that Webb and I can give you two halves of a whole story.
Webb totally ignores the part of modern society that I deal with in my books (law, government, moral ideals), and I am ignorant of the part she presents (influence, crime, competition). So this article is a reflection on what the world is made up of.
Webb's World
The world Webb presents is that of individuals who are driven to find their survival in money and in status within the competitive business world. It is normal for any human to do that. He must use what is available to him. He (of course it isn't always a "he," since mid-20th century) does what he must do, and then this has a big impact on society. An unintended, uncoordinated impact.
Excuse me for saying it again: This is what I want to share -- the fact that "Jeffrey Epstein's world" is a world unto itself. Yet we (typical educated citizens) are fairly oblivious to it. (Thank you, Whitney Webb, for giving us so much data). And the denizens of the Epstein world are oblivious to much of what they should be pursuing as normal human beings.
These guys and gals are (it seems to me) caught up in a lifetime chase after something that will soon no longer be obtainable -- as their behavior will have brought about the end of modern society. No, I'm not referring to The Second Law of Thermodynamics, which says that things get disorganized. The sociobiologist in me does not see human nature carrying that task.
I'm also not hypothesizing that some Top Dogs are positively interested in "destruction" for its own sake -- as is a conscious goal of "satanists." Possibly that's a worthy hypothesis. However, I am only underscoring the fact that Ms Webb is easily able to fill 950 pages of reportage (including gossip) without "doing a Mary." Her wealthy people do not have a moral compass. Their goal is limited to their social sphere, not any bigger chunk of humanity.
The Wealthy Are Burdened by Survival Needs
Webb's people are too busy with the product they have created. Ghislaine Maxwell comes across as really pathetic in that way, in this book. She comes across as a slave to her late father -- she wanted to conquer New York City for him! Not mentioned in the book (as far as I have yet read) but mentioned by some ex-residents o Epstein Island, in recent lawsuits, is the way in which Ghislaine seemed enslaved by Jeffrey, her lover.
Note: I have indicated that Webb's people are not reined in by government or law. However, to some extent they must put time and effort into controlling the law's possible reach into their lives. Come to think of it, they are likely the brains behind a lot of post-war legislation in the US and UK. They know what they want the law to say, for their own benefit.
Webb mentions that Jeffrey Epstein, even at a young age, was considered a genius for his ability to understand tax law and how to use it to accumulate billions and not pay tax. So we should deduce that he was also excellent at demanding that such laws come into existence. For example, laws that allow charity foundations to benefit the Robert Maxwells of this world. I think "charity law" is going to take quite a knock as soon as Webb's book gets around.
A New Phenomenon: Globalist Man?
Wow. This book, "One Nation Under Blackmail," sure works as a history of where Home sapiens has gone as a result of globalism (itself a result of the scientific conquering of transport and communication, of course) . The "descent of man" -- our undesigned evolution -- followed the track of individual survival. If you've got what it takes, personally, to survive and reproduce, your genes will increase and multiply. Your traits will become the norm.
Sure, but there is "group selection" too. I note that my beloved late mentor, EO Wilson, was originally devoted to kin selection, not group selection, but in later years he conceded. If Tribe A has a helpful trait that Tribe B lacks, A can (and often did) wipe B off the face of the earth.
Richard Alexander pointed out in his "Biology of Moral Systems" that some "virtues" are good for helping A wipe out B. These include loyalty (read: patriotism), obedience to the coordinator of the group, and a genetic willingness to lay down one's life for the tribe. Poor old Tribe B, lacking in those social traits, can't compete successfully. It's members are driven only by personal selfishness, not group selfishness.
In my 1990 book, "Morality among Nations," I argue the impossibility of international law, based on evolutionary biology. Our group can have morality because "it pays" for each of us members to play fair with all other local members. It does not pay -- or at least we assume it does not pay -- for us to make nice with all mankind. Rather, if you believe Reinhold Niebuhr, in his 1932 book, "Moral Man, Immoral Society," we all have a very not-nice instinctual approach to strangers and enemies. Namely, we are happy to kill them on sight.
Perhaps the people Whitney Webb has studied have formed a tribe, globally. If so, this is a pivotal historical event. Instead of tribes being made up of ethnic group with their own language, economy, religious beliefs, weapons, etc., there is this big tribe of, let's say, Business Moguls. They want to conquer every other tribe. This is easy to do and, I wager, has now been done.
Klaus Schwab's quote about "infiltrating cabinets," plus his boastful Global Reset program, are statements that his tribe -- the wealthy, no matter their color of skin -- can run all people's lives. He might even want to wipe out all the B's. They are vermin -- who need's 'em? I believe his WEF conquests should be viewed as war.
My Half
As I have entitled this article "Whitney Webb and I Are a Pair," I should now point out what is wonderfully missing in her book. Note: I am not wishing she did anything other than what she did for those 950 pages. I am glad she did not do a Mary. But now I will do a Mary. (I won't say "do a Maxwell" as the word Maxwell now pops off the page as being Ghislaine Maxwell.)
Humans can be moral, in small groups, and by inventing law they can extend the moral agreements to a whole country. (The use of symbols and national ideals is needed for this.) I have been able to witness in the last twenty years that my two countries, US and Australia, have had their morality white-anted (Australianese for termited).
Little by little, we have gotten informed by media -- gee thanks, Rupert -- that no individual will be served by government. "Government is a bitch." This observation is itself based partly on the Ruperts of this world having made sure that government bureaucrats treat citizens with meanness.
But in bulk, and repeated year after year, this new behavior of meanness by the government (translate: meanness by society) conveys the recommendation "Don't bother to be kind anymore. Kindness is for suckers, just sit back and adjust to a new reality. Forget Shakespeare's 'What a piece of work is a man' -- he was wrong. Yer not worth much. Oh, and by the way, take this little jab we are offering, for your own good. Ta."
I wonder if this explains the stunning number of people who, to this day, see nothing wrong with the genocidal plandemic of 2020. They can't take in what is happening. They don't call Fauci a sinner. (Some do, but most don't.) My gig is to encourage ordinary folk (and who is not ordinary?) to re-establish the moral ideas. Trying to survive without them is a losing proposition.
All Boats Can Be Lifted
The slogan "A rising tide lifts all boats" is a fact. Our situation today is one in which human suffering is increasing daily. I assume that a rising tide (whatever that may consist of, perhaps a celebration of ideals or just a new experience of social warmth) can indeed reach all members of the population.
I'd like to tell Webb's people -- don't laugh -- that they can get in on this deal. Their crazy, crazed dash for success has brought the tide down such that all boats, including theirs, must sink. To put it the opposite way, they could now change some of their practices and create a better system for all humans, including their darling selves.
For starters, they should stop being so devoted to infiltrating cabinets. They should let a thousand flowers bloom. Talent appears randomly in a population. Suppressing it, persecuting it, or even just failing to cultivate it, is really stupid. Why, they themselves are especially talented! They should seek society's admiration, rather than try to keep their head down.
Anthropologist Lionel Tiger, in two of his books, "The Manufacture of Evil," and "Men in Groups," plus his once very popular book "The Imperial Animal," co-authored by Robin Fox, has given us important insight into our personal collection of instincts. These are typically identified by the way we respond emotionally. (You fall in love at 17, you are angry if your opposing sports team cheats, you appreciate a gift or a thank-you, and so forth.)
No matter how much Jeffrey Epstein tried to control the world, and tried at an individual level to control his sex slaves, he couldn't control people's emotions and behavioral preferences. These run too deep. Consider the irony of the fact that the big blackmail operations, quite the bread and butter of Webb's people, depend on the existence of such emotions as fear of humiliation and the need to evade blame. Here is a snippet from page 129 of Volume 2:
"Author Daniel Halper [reports that] Netanyahu told Clinton that he had obtained recordings of sexually-tinged phone conversations between Clinton and Monica Lewinsky and attempted to use that blackmail to pressure Clinton into pardoning Jonathan Pollard."
Monica Lewinsky has since performed a TED Talk in which she outlines the pain she has suffered from the publicity (recall The Starr Report?) Her TED video is of the self-help genre -- how to regain dignity. It would be interesting if she now reads Webb's book and rails at the blackmail industry.
Personally, I mourn the way the front-page sex gossip has harmed two of life's great gifts: sexual intimacy and privacy in general. Those are vital values that should be reinstated forthwith. Fie on the baddies! Fie on their insatiable urge to control the world. Fie on their lowering the tide for all!
No MK-Ultra or Cannibalism in This Book
I encourage everyone to read "One Nation Under Blackmail." It's a must have. Full of information about Kissinger, Attorney General Bill Barr, Roy Cohn, arms dealers, the legitimate-business mafia, Israeli Intelligence, and everything else.
It's not an inquiry into the complaints by the involuntary Lolita's. It does not present Hillary as a cannibal. It makes light mention of mind control or of the power of Tavistock in that area. There is a lot about the CIA , but not about its efforts in the MK-Ultra program that lasted from, say, 1940 to 1990.
I rejoiced, above, that Whitney Webb's wonderful work omits much of what is going on in our culture. She gives a whole 'nuther view of things, essentially based on finance. But really how important is mind control in the lives of these very persons? Webb quotes the rumor that Epstein may have been groomed as a teenager at an institution near his home, at Coney Island Brooklyn. From her page 1 of Volume 2:
"In 1967, at age 14, he attended Interlochen Centre for the Arts... He later donated to Interlochen from 1990 to 2003 and ... used his connection ot the school to recruit unwitting females ...into his sex trafficking and blackmail enterprise..... The school cut ties with him after his first conviction in 2007."
Of course I have no information about Jeffrey's youth, but it's my guess that both his famous brain and famous sex drive were programmed into him. Many sons of the rich may have undergone torture, just as the many non-rich survivors complain about. I will send Ms Webb my book "Deliverance: a Royal Commission and Pizza-gate Reveal Our Hidden Rulers."
I'm not kidding when I say that sons (and daughters) of the rich have been tortured. Think about it. Maybe they are not even aware that this happened to them. Or they know it, but think it's OK.
What a world we live in!
