Pelosi spokesman says 'assailant is in custody,' motivation for San Francisco break-in under investigation

The husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Paul, has been assaulted with a hammer this morning in a San Francisco home invasion by an attacker who was shouting "Where is Nancy, where is Nancy?," a law enforcement source tells Fox News.

"Early this morning, an assailant broke into the Pelosi residence in San Francisco and violently assaulted Mr. Pelosi," Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill said. "The assailant is in custody and the motivation for the attack is under investigation." Hammill added, "Mr. Pelosi was taken to the hospital, where he is receiving excellent medical care and is expected to make a full recovery."

In 2021, photos surfaced on social media and TMZ showing graffiti on a San Francisco garage door purportedly at the home of the Democratic congressional leader. The apparently spray-painted message read "$2K" with a line through it.

"Cancel Rent?" "We want everything!" Another line appeared to read, "UBI!" referring to the concept of universal basic income.

A spokesman for the San Francisco Police Department told Fox News at the time that officers responded to the reported vandalism around 2 a.m. "Unidentified suspect(s) had painted graffiti on the garage door and left a pig's head on the sidewalk," they said.

Given the last three paragraphs above, it appears the Pelosis may have been targeted by homeless people wondering why they don't already have free everything. Also interesting is that it appears their back door may have been unlocked (at 2am?), judging by the details in the following article:

Logically speaking, here are some points:
1. N. Pelosi is 3rd in line for the WH. No way someone gets into that house unseen. Question... What are the chances the video has a mysterious glitch? And where were the guards?
2. Pelosi has possible mob ties. Message being sent?
3. This close to election day, and suddenly progs offices and homes are being broken into, now an assault? Amazingly, very quick arrests are being made, with little follow up.
4. N. Pelosi asks for privacy. Big tell. This means they have yet to figure out how to spin this for best effect. If they could have quickly pinned this on opposition, they'd have done so already, as Hobbs did before she got the rug pulled out from under her narrative.
5. I'm sure the internet sleuths will have a suspect mug shot before the news wires, if one exists.
6. I smell a very rotten rat.
