According to a report from The Epoch Times, the Food and Drug Administration is refusing to comply with a Freedom of Information Act request for all autopsy reports concerning deaths reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) following COVID vaccination.

The FDA refused to release the results saying it is barred from releasing medical files.

The agency cited federal law that allows agencies to withhold any information if an agency believes disclosure could “harm an interest protected by an exemption,” namely personnel and medical files, that “constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.”

The Epoch Times has appealed the FDA’s decision.

However, a drug safety advocate argues that the FDA could release the autopsy reports so long as personal information is redacted.

Kim Witczak, who advises the FDA in her role on the Psychopharmacologic Drugs Advisory Committee, told The Epoch Times that personal information could be redacted “without losing the potential learnings” from the autopsy. Witczak said the information submitted to VAERS is submitted with the understanding that it will be reviewed and investigated, including autopsy reports.

She said a review of the autopsies is an “important part of the postmortem analysis” which should be done especially around the “increased deaths following COVID-19 vaccination.”

However, a spokesperson from the FDA maintained that deaths following COVID vaccinations are rare.

As of last month, around 616 million doses of the COVID mRNA vaccines had been administered in the United States. By September 14, there had been 16,516 reports of death following COVID vaccination. [That number of deaths is likely under-reported by a factor of at least 20 and probably more like 40 according to a study conducted by Harvard on the actual reporting to the VAERS database. Therefore, a more realistic count on the number of vaxxx related deaths in the US alone would be something in the range of ~350,000 to over 650,000 deaths . . . SC]

The FDA spokesperson refused to say whether the FDA would ever comply with the FOIA request and release the autopsy results . . .
