"Jane Roe" later joined the opposition to abortions, but not long before passing on she claimed she was paid to flip sides and that she really believed in women's choice on abortions. This is certainly a divisive and emotional issue that drives some on both sides to take extreme measures to promote their cause. The reality is that women will seek abortions even if they are highly restricted, and turning abortions into a crime that the public lacks consensus about takes resources away from focusing on prosecuting crimes that our justice systems already fail to keep up with. If governments claim authority to override bodily autonomy to protect the supposed rights of human fetuses and embryos [rights not in the constitution and greatly debated by the public as well as scientific and religious professionals] they will also claim authority over our bodies for anything else they might deem to serve the public interest [vaccine mandates are one example, where the government clearly couldn't be trusted to discern what is truly in the interest of public health]. Perhaps as a country we need a public dialogue on this issue and an effort to find the best way to find some form of compromise that fosters some resolution and peace. I've noticed that "Q" has posted in their forum about this issue as if it is part of their claimed battle against evil... yet they haven't even properly researched the whole story of Jane Roe and they are feeding into further division by taking sides on an issue that divides rather than unites the nation. Just some things to consider, I know people have varying opinions and perspectives on this subject.
