The Syrian airbase Tabqa is now under the control of the US military.

The Syrian military airfield of Tabqa, where the Syrian military and models of S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems, designed specifically to scare away Turkey and the United States, were previously seen, is now under the control of the US military. The current state of the military facility is not disclosed, however, combat helicopters may be based at the airfield.

How exactly the Syrian military lost control of the Tabqa military airfield is unknown, however, it is noted that American troops are actively deployed in the territory previously controlled by the Syrian military, and in the near future a US military base may appear near the city of Ain al-Arab.

Habib said US troops are also preparing to return to the Harab Ishk base south of Ain al-Arab. Experts note that if the US military returns to northern Syria, the Syrian and Russian military will lose control over a significant region, however, the return of the American army to northern Syria is fraught with a very serious problem - the Turkish military operation.
