Hi, I am in tears as i am typing this. Our dear Korean kitty "Sandy" lovingly cuddled in my arms died early yesterday afternoon. She was a grandma in her 80s and had typical kidney failure that most aged kitties die from.
She lovingly provided so much warmth and joy in all of our military homes both first in Korea and then in the USA having lived in Dongduchon, Gwangju Korea and Montana, Pennsylvania. The anguish of seeing someone you love take their last breath is utterly heartbreaking.
Sandy is to be be cremated and will be returning to her ancestral home soon.
Please cherish and love your pets every day. Remember they are very important family members.
