Russia is getting the Ukrainians into 1 or 2 cauldrons and once isolated will pound them with artillery and tanks until dead or surrendered.
Once the Donbass area is cleared of Ukrainian troops the next assault of Russia will be on Odessa.
Once Odessa is secured and a solid land bridge from the Donbass into Crimea and Transnistria is done most of Special Operation Z will be complete.
While the Odessa operation is on-going the constant strikes by Russia on Ukraine's military infrastructure will intensify until total "demilitarization" us achieved.
Operation Z is not bound by a timeline but is objective based.
By the time it is over Russia will own 1/3rd of Ukraine or more and Ukraine will be destroyed as a nation.
