With the US's and Nato's prohibition of Russian fertilizer exports being enforced against Russia during the planting and growing season as part of their sanctions against Russia that lack of fertilizer will FURTHER reduce the world's food output beyond just the reduction in exports from Ukraine and Russia, and reduce it dramatically at the edges.

Apparently the US and Nato believe that MASSIVE worldwide famine and a partially shut down Western European Economy along with a cold populous is a Small Price To Pay for trying to dismember Russia.

This is not the first time the US has gone down this road of condemning a large number of innocents to death in order to achieve a Policy Goal. Remember the US's former Secretary of State (under Clinton) Madaline Albright who put it bluntly in her 1999 60 Minutes TV interview that killing 500,000 Iraqi babies via sanctions was a price well worth paying in order to clip the wings of Iraq's government (which for what it's worth was a government that the US actively supported for many many years and which considered the US as it's friend until the first Gulf War).

In a major War MOST people die from famine and disease, NOT because they are blown up by bullets or bombs. The US sees nothing wrong with the upcoming famine that they knew they KNEW they were engineering and also knew that it would cost a great number of innocent lives far removed from Russia and Ukraine to occur. Such a price by the poor of the world in their opinion was just fine if it helped the US and Nato in their attempt to achieve their policy goal with respect to splitting up Russia into a number of smaller units.
