How important is anything. It depends on what you are thinking. The universe does what it does, or considers important, if it considers at all. Universe wise maybe it’s just cause and effect, action and reaction. Humans do what they think has value, whatever they think is important. It is all human mind-games, human values, judgements, biases, prejudices, conclusions, and mostly nonsense. The plans of mice and men–just so much bullshit. The universe has its thing going, and humans have their things, and without the universe doing its thing, humans wouldn’t even exist. Humans and mice plan, and the universe “laughs,” is oblivious to men and mice doing their “important” shit.

Humans try to make their lives pleasant. Other humans try to enslave and kill them. The universe doesn’t “care” what humans do. We are a by-product of the universe, just like dirt and shit.

In as much as the universe is indifferent to human thinking and doing, you be indifferent to the universe’s doings. Do what you need to do to have your comforts and pleasantness, and if doesn’t work out because of all the other universe’s creations and ways and doings, just keep trying until the universe kills you. You ain’t getting out alive, but while alive, enjoy what you will and can. AND THAT’S LIFE.

Once you learn, and know, and understand the reality that is life, and that your mind and its thoughts are the sum of your life, and if you become a little less serious about your own importance in the fabric of reality, you will be able to enjoy all that is life.
