It amazes me to hear the Russian phobia being swallowed by so many of my acquaintances. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised since that is about all they hear on the Lame Stream news 24/7. I have yet to hear a rational explanation of why a superpower like Russia would want to wage even a local war by invading a country like Ukraine. Especially when it is presented as Putin wanting to reconstruct the old Soviet Union.
Like him or not, Putin is not an idiot. In order for him to wage this campaign, costing Russian lives and equipment, I would think there must be a very important reason for this ‘invasion’. A little research will reveal that the Minsk Agreement, which dissolved the old Union of Soviet Socialist Republics was replaced by a Commonwealth of Independent States. The articles listed make the new commonwealth sound like a utopia if it had been honored.
The Globalists couldn’t allow good fellowship and cooperation between these independent states. How in the world could they continue their rampant destruction of these states and the rest of the world, if peace, cooperation, and normal human rights were allowed to gain a foothold? As anyone with the time and patience to wade through the 90+ pages of Dr. Richard Day’s 1969 talk will see, this degradation of world peace had its beginnings long before the first Minsk Agreement. Russia, or in this time period, the USSR, was designated as the bogyman. Dr. Day said that in order to implement the various stages of creating their New World Order, they would have to keep the ‘herd’ in constant fear. The Cold War was born, used for a long time, and revived when needed. Russia, which traditionally had been our ally during both the Revolutionary and Civil Wars drew the short straw and would now be pitted against the U.S. and really much of the free world.
Why Khrushchev gave Crimea and the Donbass region to Ukraine when they had for thousands if years part of Russia is a mystery to me. But, Ukraine proceeded to break the original 1991 Minsk Agreement to treat all persons that live in their territory with “all the rights and freedoms of recognized international norms, regardless of national allegiance or other distinctions.” Instead, Ukraine engaged in the ethnic cleansing of Russian-speaking citizens in those areas. Condemnation from the U.N. or the country that bills itself as the defender of human rights and democracy is also silent.
Instead, a president intent on building bio-labs in Ukraine since he was a state senator in Illinois, a vice president whose greed and corruption will be used as talking points in future political science classes, and a son (never mind. That would take another article to expose and describe.) This has turned Ukraine into a cesspool of corruption for profit. Kind of like D.C. In 1991, the U.S. and NATO agreed not to build military bases in countries surrounding Russia and not to expand NATO to Russia’s borders. Since that time, they have done nothing but.
President Putin had raised the Donbass issue several times in international forums. No one seemed interested in his calls for diplomatic and political solutions over, at least, the last eight years. So Putin, in an attempt to stifle talk of Russian Aggression, by taking over the Donbass region, as the majority of citizens were asking for, signed papers designating Donetsk and Lugansk as independent states.
According to the OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe), Ukraine has violated the 2014-2015 agreement several times in just the last few weeks. The Minsk Agreement, which was endorsed they the U.N. Security Council, seems to be AWOL as the U.N. hasn’t attempted to negotiate peace talks between the two nations.
The fake Biden administration and other Neo-Cons have done everything they could think of to inflame the situation. They want WWIII with Russia so bad they can taste it. To the point of placing heavy sanctions on Russia, which have hurt the U.S. more than Russia. To the point of sending men and equipment into Ukraine in spite of Putin’s warning that it would only make things worse. What is next, a false flag attack on America, designed to make it look like it was Russia that attacked us? Depend on it!
I’m too long in the tooth to be anyone’s cheerleader, but it seems to me that President Putin has done about everything he could to stop the genocide in the Donbass region and stop the encroachment of NATO to his borders. After asking for international help and warning that his patience was running out, he invade Ukraine. And, people were surprised?
