Our Founding Fathers talked often of our need to keep our noses out of other countries' affairs. For a long time, we followed that wisdom. When did that change? Why does it seem that we often back the wrong horse when we do get involved? There were just too many examples. I chose just a few.
Chiang kei-shek was a Chinese Nationalist military leader of the Republic of China for over twenty years. Then the leader of Taiwan until his death in 1975. At the end of WWII, he expected (was promised) the United States to back him against Mao Zedong, the communist revolutionist. That promised help never came. Chiang and his followers escaped to Taiwan, which has been a thorn in the CCP’s side ever since. China became the People’s Republic of China in 1949. Who was backing Mao and why America reneged on its promised help would fill a book. But, it is only one example of our meddling.
In 1951, Masaddegh, leader of Iran, vowed to throw the British owed oil company out of Iran, and reclaim the petroleum reserves powers. He nationalized the company. The British were outraged and demanded that the UN do something about this outright theft. They imposed an embargo by sending warships to the Persian Gulf.
Still not satisfied, Britain wanted to do an armed invasion. But, Prime Minister Winston Churchill instead appealed to the U.S. President. Truman wasn’t in favor of this move, being sympathetic with any people who were fighting for their freedom from the old world imperialists, of which Britain took the lead. But when Eisenhower came into office, the notoriously crooked Dulles brothers, John Foster, Secretary of State, and Allen, Director of the CIA told their British counterparts they could move against Masaddegh.
Why you might ask? What has prompted most of our meddling in the Middle East? Oil and to some extent drugs. But there was more to it than that. Iran also had a long border with the Soviet Union. On top of that, Masaddegh was a Nationalist leader. The deposing of the only democratic leader in Iran was code-named Operation Ajax.
With the installation of the autocratic Shah, Iran lost much ground formally gained on modernization, religious tolerance, and democracy. Hmm, isn’t that the worn-out excuse the CIA uses when toppling leaders in other countries? That we were freeing the poor populace from an oppressive leader who was killing his own people and installing democracy? And for decades, we Americans have bought that story.
The White Revolution lasted fifteen years as the people watched Pahlavi’s pathetic attempt to govern. Meanwhile, the oil that was supposed to be used to create jobs and build factories somehow managed to get stuck somewhere near the top of their ‘trickle down’ strategy and concentrated the wealth in the hands of the very few elites. Now, how many times and in how many countries has that happened?
Khomeini continued to agitate and spread his poisonous rhetoric until rioting broke out in the larger cities, surprising the inept and clueless Shah. Then it was time for the Persian Reichstag event, where 422 people were burned to death in a theater because whoever started the fire also barred the doors. The people decided it was the Shah’s fault, although he had nothing to do with it. CIA whipping up the herd?
Here is a lesson for every leader, especially those on the chopping block. The more the Shah tried to appease the rioters, the more Khomeini’s thugs rioted. The Shah declared martial law and banned demonstrations. The Khomeini agitators, around 5,000, ignored the ban and took to the streets. The Shah’s soldiers at first fired over their heads, then into the crowd, killing 89. Khomeini, of course, inflated those numbers to 4,000, which is what the world was told. The irate Iranians were outraged and finally overthrew the Shah who escaped with his family to Egypt with the help of President Carter.
At this point, not learning our lesson, we attempted to install yet another Shah. But radical Islam had taken over the country. That dufus invited Khomeini back into the country, wherein short order, he completely took over Iran. So, we should probably stop complaining about Iran since we helped to create it.
Another example of our meddling would be in Nicaragua. I won’t go into the particulars again since this was just one of the Central and South American countries on the receiving end of our “help”. I would instead recommend a book called “Dark Alliance” by Gary Webb, if the reader is interested in the details that nearly took Reagan down. It always seems to come down to oil or drugs. And when investigative journalists(there are still a few) tried to expose the truth, they got suicided. Gary Webb was so disturbed by what he uncovered that he shot himself in the back of the head...twice. Michael Hastings was so overwhelmed by his discoveries, he blew up his car while driving into a tree.
I will bypass the Middle East fiasco as it covers so many countries who ‘benefited from our help.’ General Wesley Clarke stumbled onto that CIA/military /industrial plan to completely change the landscape of that area. Because of oil? Not for spreading democracy? That excuse was as phony as the three poison jabs that were supposed to protect us from COVID-19.
Now we come to Ukraine. Our Lame Stream Media is telling us that Russia invaded Ukraine in an attempt to take it over and reabsorb it into the old Soviet Union map. Sorry, I’m not buying that narrative. For one reason because the MSM is pushing that story so hard. For another, because it gives us a perfect smokescreen to cover up Obama, Biden, and Hillary’s meddling in that country for the last ten years. For another, it is a great diversion from anything happening here like the uncovering of the pandemic hoax we’ve all been suffering under for over two years. Or anything more about the trucker’s convoy in Canada or the U.S., the stolen election, and perhaps, our sinking economy. “Move along folks, nothing to see here.”
Which one exactly are they working so hard to cover-up? The fake pandemic/the global poisoning of humanity/the financial bomb about to explode/ the stolen election and subsequent destruction of the American Republic, or the ten years of corruption in Ukraine by the Biden dynasty, Obama and Hillary? Perhaps all of the above. Whatever the underlying reasons, this is nothing more than a shell game. I’m hoping that most people won’t fall for this Deep State line of BS.
How can you tell that’s what this is? Pay attention. What did Putin do when there was turmoil in Georgia? He sent his military in to settle things down AND THEN HE LEFT. In Crimea, the same story, except this time he asked the population there to take a vote on whether or not they wanted to become part of Russia again. With a vote of around 95%, they voted to become part of Russia. Crimea had traditionally been a part of Russia until Khrushchev gave it away.
The story is similar in Eastern Ukraine. These are mostly Russian-speaking Slavic people. The Khazarian Jews aka the Deep State have been killing these people for many years. Putin has issued several warnings hoping it would stop. Finally, tiring of Russian people being killed and realizing that the DS was using Ukraine to house several chem/bio-labs right next door to Russia, he went in and took the labs out.
My main concern is how in the world did we allow our government to convince us for decades that these many invasions of other countries and replacing often democratically elected leaders was for the purpose of installing democracy? In country after country we heard, “Oh, he’s killing his own people!” Saddam Hussein for instance? Yes, with the armaments, chemical and biological weapons we/Rumsfeld gave him. Hussein must have been stunned to learn that he was no longer our friend and ally and had a bulls-eye on his back.
We the People have got to learn to question everything we are being told. With the advent of the Internet, there is no excuse for being lazy or gullible. When you know who is in control of the globe, you should know not to believe everything you are being told. As for Putin, watch what he does. If he continues on a rampage of gobbling up countries that were a part of the old Soviet Union, then he is a modern-day Hitler. I’m betting he will do as he always has. Calm the waters, then go back to Russia.
