Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced he ordered his country's military to conduct a special operation in the Donbass region after the leaders of the breakaway republics asked Moscow for military assistance in response to what they claim is an increase in “Ukrainian aggression.”

This interview sums up where things stand in Ukraine at this time. The misled Ukrainian government is no longer in power and has no ability to govern. The Ukrainian military folded throughout the nation in 1 hour and 22 minutes. Only a few small pockets of resistors are holding out, and they don't have any offensive capabilities. Those that have laid down arms are not even being held or charged, but are given full amnesty to simply go back to their families. GE

Not surprisingly the smartest commentary I've seen today. Scott Ritter is a man to be listened to. The Kiev government had years to implement the terms of the Minsk Agreement which they signed. They chose a different path and this is where it brought them.
Remember that the US Embassy has run away from Kiev. So much for the US standing "shoulder to shoulder" with Ukraine. The State Department website says that it has relocated to Lviv close to the Polish border, but there are reports that it has now left Ukraine completely and resides inside Poland. Whilst I have not checked, reports say that the Brits have also gone. Any other countries considering friendship relying upon the USA and UK had better rethink.
Jeez it is always so impressive to listen to Scot Ritter because of his cold and extremely precise logic. Since he appeared on media giving geopolitical and military analysis it become absolutely clear that he is extremely knowledgeable and truthful person. I always look for his comments and analysis because they are firmly down on the ground regardless if you like it or not. Thanks Scott for all your good and honest work in keeping wider public knowledgeable of crucial events that are of extreme importance for our future. Best wishes to you from Berlin.
