Russia Issues "Terms for Ukraine"

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova issued a ultimatum of humiliating NATO capitulation, demanding that Russian conditions be met so that there would be no escalation with Ukraine.

Russia-United Nations talks scheduled for next week to avoid an arms race in space have been postponed as Russia " insisted it needed more time to prepare," according to two Western officials.

Expectations were happy that the newly formed "working group" could help shape international rules that curb what many see as unrestricted military competition in space.

"The talks could even lay the groundwork for a possible ban or moratorium on disastrous anti-satellite weapons tests," US officials said.

"The meeting has been postponed ," said a State Department official who was not authorized to speak in public. " The Russians have called for a delay in the initial round of UN talks until May."

For the first time Russia is not going to Munich
At the same time, Russia will not be attending the Munich Security Conference for the first time in 20 years.

"There will be no official Russian delegation at the largest international security forum - the Munich Conference - this year.

This was announced by the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

According to Wolfgang Isinger, about 35 heads of state and government are expected in Munich this year, as well as US Vice President Kamala Harris.

About 100 foreign and defense ministers are expected to attend the conference. A total of 600 representatives from different countries and International Organizations will arrive in the Bavarian capital.

British Foreign Secretary called "Clown Who Came To Waste Our Time" By Russia!

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov's meeting with his British counterpart Liz Truss in Moscow went very badly. Russian Foreign Ministry staff referred to the British Foreign Secretary as "a clown who came to waste our time" and Lavrov walked out, leaving her alone at the podium after their Press Conference, thus showing her the door to leave Russia.

This is unprecedented rhetoric and a real hardening of the Russian stance.

Upon her arrival at Moscow Airport, Truss was *not* greeted by _any_ Russian Diplomats, but was instead met only by British Embassy Staff! Video below shows her arrival:

When Truss motorcade arrived at the Russian Foreign Ministry, she was not permitted to get out of the car, but instead, they were told to go park somewhere down the street and walk back ! ! ! ! Here's video of Truss being made to walk several blocks back to the Foreign Ministry:

At a Press Conference after the meeting, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov said the British Foreign Secretary and her diplomats came to the meeting "unprepared" and said it was "like talking to a deaf man."

For her part, the British Foreign Secretary stressed that "Lavrov told me that Russia has no plans to invade Ukraine. But we must see the words followed by deeds and the troops moved elsewhere."

Lavrov then publicly rebuked her by saying bluntly "What Russia does on its own territory is not your job." He then walked out of the Press Conference leaving Truss standing there all alone!
