Toppling elected Governments and installing puppet leaders is a classic CIA trademark, but that can't be the case here right?

Only 1 government that has experience above most to internally destabilize a country, thereby causing further regional instability. I wonder who it is.

Kazakhstan is indeed very relevant for the central "belt" of the Belt and Road. US activity wouldn't be surprising at all, especially after they lost Afghanistan.

The US wants a chunk of Kazak, the Russians have known this for years. The province of Mangystau is demanding independence, which just happens to take up a big chunk of the Caspian. And all this just days before the start of US/Russia talks.Come on, join the dots. Incidentally, Kazakhstan has just requested CSTO assistance and Russia is responding already.
