I would like to know exactly what our representatives and senators are doing about the January 6th arrests? It's like these people have been placed in some kind of Limbo. There have been so many of their rights violated in their arrests and incarceration, I hardly know where to begin.
First off. it has been pretty well established that the capital police moved aside barricades and encouraged them to enter. Besides, the building doesn't belong to Congress. It is the people's house. Our Founding Fathers would be enraged at their arrest, much less the way they've been treated since then.
A first-year law student could write an appeal on so many constitutional violations. But, so many questions have remained unanswered or at least obscured. Have these people been formally charged with anything? Have they been allowed to speak to an attorney? What exactly have they been charged with? Why is the government dragging its feet to prosecute them if they think they have grounds? What happened to a guarantee of a speedy trial? Were there warrants issued?
So far I've counted the First amendment, the fourth, the fifth, the sixth, the seventh, and the eighth that are being violated.
Who exactly is in charge of making sure the agencies/courts don't overstep their authority? Isn't that one of the jobs of Congress, or at least one of the reps or senators from their home state?
One of these people has already died while in custody. Has that been investigated? Was his death due to the harsh punishment I've heard they/ve been subjected to? Is this what the Libtards in government do when they don't really have a serious enough charge to levy?
Rioting and insurrection I've heard this charge so much from Pelosi's radical mouth as well as the Lame Stream Media, I was forced to look it up in my dictionary, as these words were the claim of the Democrats. Insurrection doesn't fit at all as these people were not being violent or rising up to overthrow anything. Rioting barely fits either as, again, this crowd wasn't being violent or they would have attacked the capitol police since they seriously outnumbered them.
These officials are the same fools who tried to whitewash last year's real rioting in so many blue cities, like Portland and Seattle. Yet, according to these idiots, the BLM and Antifa destruction of public property, attacking and injuring people, attacking the police with lasers to blind them, burning, and looting was "mostly peaceful." Later in the year, all charges against them were dropped.
So, in spite of Pelosi and every other libtard in Congress and in the Lame Stream Media yammering on about the January "riots and insurrection", the incident was anything but. These people were there in support of their president, who by the way, continually told them to remain peaceful. They were thrilled to be in their nation's capital, many for the first time, no doubt unaware of any rules covering visiting of buildings. Yes, I can see how many thought they had the right to be in there. At the most, some of the actions, once inside, could be considered a misdemeanor. But nothing to warrant the arrest and the treatment they have received for almost a year now.
Where is the outrage from our elected congressmen and women, who by the way, are mostly lawyers, who should know better? How can they stand by while Americans are treated as though they lived in a third-world banana republic? Who is fighting for their right to their day in court and to a speedy trial? Why are lawyers like Linn Wood and Sydney Powell not screaming from their podiums as well as all over this gross, tyrannical treatment of citizens by their own government? Now, I understand the reason our Founding Fathers included this very possibility in the Declaration of Independence? Now, I understand the remark made by our first president, "A free people ought not only be armed and disciplined. But they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them. Which would include their own government." George Washington
I will be asking my two Senators what they are doing for these people. I hope enough of us will raise enough hell to be heard over the lies of the media and some members of Congress. These are the people in need of real justice and reparations. Not the great-grandkids of unfortunate slaves almost two hundred years ago. And one of these people just got his 'justice'. Forty-one months in prison for walking into a public building his taxes help pay for and carrying a flag? Speaking over a bullhorn? Isn't that what the Huckster, Al Sharpton uses. not that he needs one.?
You people who usually vote Democrat and voted for Biden had better hope you are far enough up the food chain to escape what is coming, but I doubt it. No doubt, Governor Newsome thought he was safe too. Guess he didn't get the placebo after all. And that is what will happen to people who take part in this Marxist-socialist takeover of America.
I will end with one more timely quote: "The Judiciary of the United States is the subtle corps of usurpers and miners constantly working underground to undermine the foundations of our confederated fabric." Thomas Jefferson
Perhaps that is the answer to my many questions.
