Thank you for this posting.

I just wanted to report from the southern Oregon coastal region, that "yes", trees are dying from the top down ... three of them in my beautiful, luscious backyard alone ... it is beyond sad ... two seem to have been infected with some kind of rust disease. It came upon them quickly and they are dying quickly, from the top down.

Also, at the shorelines closeby, the sea anemones and starfish are nearly extinct ... two years ago they were flourishing.

I am beyond tears-- my heart aches more than sorrow ... our beautiful sea creatures and foliage are dying and who will give them a dirge?
