Greetings everyone.
I have been off the internet for awhile, due to computer problems. It started over a year ago when my laptop with windows 7 failed. I found out it needed a new motherboard, but I was short of funds at that moment.

So I was falling back to my backup computer, a 2005 desktop with windowsXP 650MB ram memory. I could still view text and some images, but no videos.

On The first of August the old desktop with windowsXP failed. The hard drive failed.

I thought maybe it was a sign, spending too much time reading and navigating the internet looking for…….. I don’t know what.

So I spent time out working in the garden and walking about the city. Last week I was out in the garden weeding, and digging about during that hot spell. I came into the house for a drink of water, and my wife sees me dripping with sweat, and my t-shirt soaking wet.

She got a little miffed with me, about staying out of the heat. “You big s—t, that’s why we have air conditioning.”
She told me to go sit on the couch and relax.
So, I sat back with my head resting on the back of the couch, and just looking at the ceiling, watching the blades on the ceiling fan rotating. My wife sees me doing this and asks, “What are you thinking?” I said, “I’m not thinking. I’m dreaming.”

Last Friday my wife says, “Let’s go to the store and see if we can get you a laptop.” I was going to say that maybe we should just look instead. But, she said, “Get your shoes on and meet me out at the car”.
Within 2 hours we are back home with a small Lenovo laptop.

My first experience with the laptop was to go to Youtube, and I see this video of Elvis Presley singing “If I Can Dream’.

I do not know how else to explain, but this song speaks to my heart.
