Dear RM Agents and Readers,

My father had a friend from Cuba named Poncho and he passed last year but as a child, really young. I would sit and listen to the stories they would tell as they were drinking beer.

Yet, one of the stories that Poncho told my dad as I listened in, stuck like glue. Yea, when Castro was over our country, we had money but nothing to buy, shops were bare from food to clothes.

So what did it matter that we had money?????

Thank You for what he taught me, I was 4 maybe 5 but this stuck in my brain with utter shock, never forgot.

When he would go to visit he always gave everyone a t shirt because he loved America and the ability to have more than one shirt.
